Services
My therapeutic approach is centred on the client’s needs. Everyone comes from different and unique circumstances in life, and I believe that the therapy process should be unique to each client. For this reason, my approach is warm, judgment free, and draws on a variety of evidence-based therapeutic methods. Depending on the client, I draw on Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Narrative Therapy, Attachment-Based approaches, Family Systems, Relational Therapy, and Psychodynamic approaches.
Therapy can provide positive outcomes for a wide variety of reasons. My belief is that therapy itself can be a healing process. The act of sharing your thoughts, feelings, and worries is an essential step to a healthier and more fulfilling life.
Whether it is navigating a specific challenge or looking for a deeper understanding of yourself, my approach is focused on your goals.
While I am competent and comfortable working with all people, my focus is working with people who identify as men and adolescent boys as well as couples.

Couples Sessions (platonic or romantic)
Whether it is romantic, platonic, or somewhere in-between, couples therapy can be a useful process to better understand your relationship and find healthier ways to navigate your dynamic. Couples therapy is not only helpful when there is a problem, it can also be useful to navigate transitions, changes in the relationship, or build a stronger connection.
While sometimes both people are ready to start couples therapy, other times one or both of you might be hesitant. It is my belief that both people’s perspectives are crucial to understand how to move forward through any obstacle you may be facing together. Through couples therapy, we can work on communication, emotional connection, intimacy, understanding, and any other facet of your relationship that could be strengthened.
